North Star Recycling attended the Global Carbon Neutrality Forum for 50 Multinational Companies and won the MNC50 Global Village Award - Sino Foreign Enterprise Cooperation Award
On March 1, 2025, a seminar on the trends, challenges, and responses to the development of carbon neutrality industry, as well as the annual meeting of the 50 person forum on carbon neutrality for multinational corporations, was successfully held at the Beijing New Power Financial Technology Center. Dr. Zhang Tao, Chairman and General Manager of North Star Recycling, was invited to attend and participate in the "Breaking the Game: Going Global" roundtable dialogue. North Star Recycling won the MNC50 Global Village Award - Sino Foreign Enterprise Cooperation Award.
The grand event kicks off, drawing a zero carbon blueprint together
On March 1, 2025, a grand event was held at the Beijing New Power Financial Technology Center to discuss the trends, challenges, and responses of carbon neutrality industry development, as well as the annual meeting of the 50 person forum on carbon neutrality for multinational corporations. The forum's annual meeting is themed "Zero Carbon Leading the Way, Spirit Snakes Offering End - Trends and Innovations in Carbon Neutral Development".
Nearly a hundred executives from multinational corporations, as well as experts and scholars from organizations such as the China Association of Foreign Investment Enterprises, the China Association for Asian Economic Development, Tsinghua University, local government representatives, and private enterprise leaders, gathered together to discuss carbon neutral development paths and innovative practices. The conference is hosted by the Global Carbon Neutrality 50 Forum, guided by the China Association of Foreign Investment Enterprises, in cooperation with the New Power Financial Technology Center and the China Asia Economic Development Association, and supported by Suzhou Xibeiyou Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and North Star Advanced Recycling Technology (Qingdao) Co., Ltd.
The forum was chaired by Che Wei, Executive Director of the Global Carbon Neutrality 50 Forum. Cao Hongying, Executive Vice President of the China Association of Foreign Investment Enterprises, and Song Jingwu, Executive Vice President of the China European Union Association, expressed their support and recognition for the forum. Lu Yuebing, Chairman of the Global Carbon Neutrality 50 Forum, introduced the forum's development history and long-term goals for the future.
Zhu Yunlai, visiting professor of management practice at Tsinghua University, discusses China's electricity costs and carbon reduction methods in the new energy market through economic models and data, and considers the direction of future new energy electricity construction.
Dai Beijie, the head of the Research Management Department at Beijing Zhongguancun College/Zhongguancun AI Research Institute, brought the latest developments, trends, and applications of artificial intelligence. She discussed the pain points, technological breakthroughs, and ecological reconstruction of scenarios in the era of general artificial intelligence and technology inclusiveness, and exchanged ideas on the integration and development of artificial intelligence applications in collaborative large, medium, and small enterprises, as well as the industry ecology of upstream and downstream collaborative innovation in the industrial chain; Secretary General Xu Zhonghua introduced the work achievements and plans of the forum, and announced that the conference will achieve carbon neutrality.
Wisdom gathers eight parties to discuss the way to break through the deadlock
The forum held a roundtable dialogue session, which sparked in-depth discussions on three major topics: "low-carbon transformation", "endogenous innovation", and "breaking through barriers and going global". At the brainstorming forum, guests shared their views and engaged in lively exchanges on energy development, artificial intelligence development, green going global, and circular industries.
In the roundtable dialogue on "Breaking the deadlock: Going global", Dr. Zhang Tao, Chairman and General Manager of North Star, shared insights on the global layout of emerging industry recycling based on corporate practice. Enterprises should export validated circular economy solutions and promote the establishment of international green industry chain standards for green going global.

The forum has specially established the MNC50 Global Village Award and Penguin Award to recognize enterprises, institutions, and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to addressing climate change and promoting green transformation. Beichen Advanced Recycling Technology (Qingdao) Co., Ltd. and Siemens AG from Germany have won the MNC50 Global Village Award - Sino Foreign Enterprise Cooperation Award at the forum.
