During the exchange, Dr. Zhang Tao shared his journey from a CUMT student to a tech entrepreneur, detailing NorthStar Recycling’s technological pathways and industrial practices in new energy battery recycling and green low-carbon solutions. He emphasized that with the global advancement of "dual-carbon" goals, the company is accelerating its overseas expansion, particularly highlighting the collaborative potential of the Japanese market in technical synergies and environmental standards.
As Vice President of the CUMT Qingdao Alumni Association, Dr. Zhang Tao underscored the strategic geographic advantages between Qingdao and Japan. He advocated for strengthened alumni exchanges to foster mutual progress and warmly invited Japanese alumni to visit Qingdao for collaboration.
Subsequently, Dr. Ge Linhan, Director of the Solution BU, spotlighted NorthStar’s robotics innovations and application cases, drawing keen attention to the emerging trend of green-intelligent integration among attendees.

This visit not only deepened the bonds among alumni but also laid a solid foundation for Sino-Japanese collaboration in green technology and smart manufacturing. The Alumni Association sincerely welcomes more alumni to visit the "Alumni House," where they may renew friendships and explore new opportunities together.
