Recently, North Star Recycling was invited to attend the GBRC 2025 SMM Battery Recycling and Circular Industry Conference, organized by Shanghai Metals Market (SMM) and held at the Sheraton Ningbo Donggang Hotel. Yet in China, over 500 equipment manufacturers remain trapped in low-end price wars, with intelligence and standardization lagging significantly. Leading enterprises hold less than 15% market share. Behind the influx of speculative capital lie fragmented technological roadmaps and weak global competitiveness: European and American firms are seizing dominance with disruptive technologies like hydrogen-based reduction and dry separation, while Chinese equipment suppliers struggle under dual pressures of "green trade barriers" and "technological containment."
